After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, José Vítor Rodrigues managed to get in a good position for a shot. Independente FC's supporters rose to their feet, but José Vítor Rodrigues was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wawrzyniec Wykowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, CWKS KĘDZIERZYN's Robert Trela got a free kick in the 8th minute. The audience was convinced that Bernard Rojewski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Diego Martins was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. If Marco Monteiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when José Vítor Rodrigues stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Eugeniusz Komornicki came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the CWKS KĘDZIERZYN fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eugeniusz Komornicki couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Independente FC booed when CWKS KĘDZIERZYN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wincent Giejda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maksymilian Kopacz hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. In the 62nd minute, Walery Glogowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marco Monteiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Wawrzyniec Wykowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 68 minutes CWKS KĘDZIERZYN's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gilberto Gonçalves who took care of the corner kick. Wawrzyniec Wykowski was a little too slow when Marco Monteiro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 69th minute. The score was now 1-1. An unexpected shot in the 76th minute by José Vítor Rodrigues got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When CWKS KĘDZIERZYN's Bernard Rojewski in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Independente FC's goalie prevented a goal. When Bernard Rojewski fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CWKS KĘDZIERZYN's protests and gave Bernard Rojewski a yellow card for diving instead. Wawrzyniec Wykowski made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Alexandre Cabral sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernard Rojewski in the 93rd minute of play forced Independente FC's goalkeeper Diego Martins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diego Martins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernard Rojewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
