After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Defensores del Tiki Tiki's Pastor Bernal was substituted for Tomas Viviano. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fiume Veneto's Camillo Malatesta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaudencio Guifre in the 62nd minute of play. After 65 minutes of play, Defensores del Tiki Tiki's Alfonso Oso made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Camillo Malatesta was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Defensores del Tiki Tiki's zone, Bruno Rossetti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eliseo Elija came out of the goal and Bruno Rossetti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Defensores del Tiki Tiki's Eliseo Elija proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Defensores del Tiki Tiki from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Fiume Veneto getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Domenico Forlano hit a great ball. The supporters of Defensores del Tiki Tiki booed when Fiume Veneto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Santo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adriano De Simone hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. In the 97th minute of the match Alfonso Oso shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Camillo Malatesta showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. There was no doubt that Defensores del Tiki Tiki were the better team. Defensores del Tiki Tiki's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
