Petru Stoiculescu came out of the goal and Iuri Netto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 65th minute, Nicolae Drăgoi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Petru Stoiculescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jefferson de Godoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 81st minute, Cormoranii -MM-'s Tudor Urdăreanu seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Tudor Urdăreanu the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Cormoranii -MM- protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Tudor Urdăreanu had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 83 played minutes, A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】's Iuri Netto shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Petru Stoiculescu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】 reached it. Jerônimo de Toledo hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 95th minute of the match, Jerônimo de Toledo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Petru Stoiculescu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iuri Netto got free with Petru Stoiculescu in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cormoranii -MM- succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】 had controlled the match.
