Wout Tombeurs started the match with the kick off. The audience was convinced that Yanne Wynaerts's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Geovanni Vargas was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. When the match clock showed 3 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Yanne Wynaerts sped through A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Geovanni Vargas. 8 minutes into the match, Zero Gravity's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Cavalcante came free, but Tomm Huyghens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Zero Gravity's Geovanni Vargas threw himself towards the right post 14 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Thibau De Messemaecker, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 20th minute, Wout Tombeurs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21st minute of the match Erik Leite sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tomm Huyghens skillfully saved the ball. Geovanni Vargas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Thibau De Messemaecker in the 25th minute. Tomm Huyghens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iuri Netto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Iuri Netto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Robbin Roggen during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Robbin Roggen kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】's Iuri Netto tried to score from far away in the 40th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 41st minute Luís Tróia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomm Huyghens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Iuri Netto made a kick off. Daniel Cavalcante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 54 minutes into the match, A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】's goal looked a bit too open when Wout Tombeurs came free, but Geovanni Vargas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zé Paulo Zonta kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. After having played for 59 minutes, Thibau De Messemaecker managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zero Gravity's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thibau De Messemaecker was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Luís Tróia came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Tróia couldn't finish the play. After having played for 69 minutes, Iuri Netto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A. A. After 89 played minutes A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】 got a freekick which was hit by Zé Paulo Zonta. 94 minutes into the game, A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】's Luís Tróia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tomm Huyghens made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
