Manfred Wallin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Tadeusz Olejasz made a huge save. Thanks to some nice moves Manfred Wallin could shoot a difficult shot in the 13th minute, which Tadeusz Olejasz however easily saved by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Zgierskie Zlewy's zone, Manfred Wallin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tadeusz Olejasz came out of the goal and Manfred Wallin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Manfred Wallin took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tadeusz Olejasz. Tadeusz Olejasz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Zgierskie Zlewy's Tadeusz Olejasz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andreas Grubb in the 25th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Mats Vennerkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stardust Unicorns XI's supporters rose to their feet, but Mats Vennerkvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tadeusz Olejasz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 28th minute of the match, Manfred Wallin got a very nice opportunity to score, but Tadeusz Olejasz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Tadeusz Olejasz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manfred Wallin in the 31st minute. In the 32nd minute of the match, Andreas Grubb tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tadeusz Olejasz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 33rd match minute, Zgierskie Zlewy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Waldemar Domaracki to maneuver through the defense. Zgierskie Zlewy's defense didn't have a chance, in the 37th minute, when Andreas Grubb scored to the left of an out of position Tadeusz Olejasz, making the score, 2-0. In the 46th minute, Andreas Grubb reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tadeusz Olejasz. The goal made the score 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Manfred Wallin to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Andreas Grubb notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Zgierskie Zlewy's Tadeusz Olejasz. Tadeusz Olejasz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 59 minutes into the match, Zgierskie Zlewy's goal looked a bit too open when Manfred Wallin came free, but Tadeusz Olejasz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Mats Vennerkvist came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Stardust Unicorns XI fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mats Vennerkvist couldn't finish the play. Tadeusz Olejasz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Manfred Wallin went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. In the 73rd minute there was a penalty for Stardust Unicorns XI. J.C. J.J. stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Tadeusz Olejasz. 6-0. The referee felt a red card was in order, 79 minutes into the game, when Waldemar Domaracki put in a rough tackle. After 78 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Zgierskie Zlewy! An unexpectedly hard shot by Manfred Wallin in the 82nd minute of play forced Zgierskie Zlewy's goalkeeper Tadeusz Olejasz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zgierskie Zlewy's Tadeusz Olejasz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manfred Wallin in the 85th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Andreas Grubb ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tadeusz Olejasz was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. 90 minutes into the match, Manfred Wallin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tadeusz Olejasz. Zgierskie Zlewy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Manfred Wallin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. Tadeusz Olejasz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andreas Grubb, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 99 minutes into the match, Zgierskie Zlewy's goal looked a bit too open when Manfred Wallin came free, but Tadeusz Olejasz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Stardust Unicorns XI fully deserved thier win.
