When Wout Tombeurs came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Zero Gravity fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wout Tombeurs couldn't finish the play. Wout Tombeurs hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Tomm Huyghens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ion Stroiescu in the 15th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ion Stroiescu in the 16th minute of play forced Zero Gravity's goalkeeper Tomm Huyghens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Zero Gravity fans' excitement grew in the 18th match minute when Zero Gravity's Wout Tombeurs looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of Zero Gravity booed when Cormoranii -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ion Stroiescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd minute, Ion Stroiescu made a precise shot to the right of Tomm Huyghens. Zero Gravity's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Costică Răduțu kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Ion Stroiescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Tomm Huyghens made a huge save. In the 39th minute Yanne Wynaerts shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petru Stoiculescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yanne Wynaerts took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Petru Stoiculescu. Petru Stoiculescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Robbin Roggen kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ion Stroiescu was the one to do the kick off. Zero Gravity's Wout Tombeurs came free and shot a quick shot against goal 52 minutes in the game, fortunately Petru Stoiculescu had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Cormoranii -MM-'s Ion Stroiescu got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 57th minute, Ivan Enescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 59th minute Ion Stroiescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomm Huyghens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wout Tombeurs could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Petru Stoiculescu made a huge save. Cormoranii -MM-'s Petru Stoiculescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Cormoranii -MM- from getting a goal against them. In the 68thth minute of the game Ion Stroiescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zero Gravity's Tomm Huyghens was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 69 played minutes Zero Gravity got a freekick which was hit by Casper De Worteleere. 71 minutes into the game, Wout Tombeurs lined in a short shot 1-4 behind a frustrated Petru Stoiculescu. Petru Stoiculescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wout Tombeurs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yanne Wynaerts in the 85th minute of play forced Cormoranii -MM-'s goalkeeper Petru Stoiculescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yanne Wynaerts received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Petru Stoiculescu came out and tried to block the shot, but Yanne Wynaerts slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 86th minute. In the 90th match minute, Cormoranii -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Enescu to maneuver through the defense. Wout Tombeurs's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 93rdth minute, Petru Stoiculescu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The Zero Gravity supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Zero Gravity would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
