In the 21st minute, Eustaquio Azibar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Armando Otsando was shown his second yellow card after 24 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 24th minute, one of Cremonese:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cremonese. Fox Hunting Squad's defense didn't have a chance, in the 42nd minute, when Genaro Jaen scored to the left of an out of position Mats Van Elsen, making the score, 1-1. Eustaquio Azibar kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Cremonese's Julio Vasco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Cremonese from getting a goal against them. 54 minutes into the match, Fox Hunting Squad's goal looked a bit too open when Melchor Arias came free, but Mats Van Elsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Fox Hunting Squad booed when Cremonese was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melchor Arias didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Fox Hunting Squad's Stanny Schols got a free kick in the 60th minute.
