After a rather tough play, STARK F.C.'s Anselmo Arias got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Luisito Tono kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. A collision led to ATLETICO MENDOZA getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Severo Satordi hit a great ball. 15 minutes into the match, Romeo Lizer sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Nicolas Inocente threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Romeo Lizer this time. In the 17th minute, Claudio Eudoxio made a precise shot to the right of Gigi Buffon. STARK F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 22 minutes into the match, ATLETICO MENDOZA's Claudio Eudoxio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gigi Buffon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oscar Guerrero got free with Nicolas Inocente in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, ATLETICO MENDOZA's Nicolas Inocente got control of the ball when Francisco Abascal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Anselmo Arias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolas Inocente having to interfere. Anselmo Arias let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 36th minute shot 1-1 at rihgt post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar Guerrero in the 46th minute of play forced ATLETICO MENDOZA's goalkeeper Nicolas Inocente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Francisco Abascal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nicolas Inocente read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

STARK F.C.'s Serafin Lleir was substituted for Anselmo Arias. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Justino Estevez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, ATLETICO MENDOZA's Abelardo Corderun got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 53rd minute of the match Romeo Lizer sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nicolas Inocente skillfully saved the ball. Francisco Abascal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 56th match minute, STARK F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Abascal to maneuver through the defense. 59 minutes into the match, ATLETICO MENDOZA's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Abascal came free, but Nicolas Inocente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as ATLETICO MENDOZA's Justino Estevez slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gigi Buffon. That made the score 1-2 after 62 minutes of play. Gigi Buffon made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Justino Estevez sent off a good shot on target. Guillermo Ovando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolas Inocente having to interfere. STARK F.C. made a substitution. Ricardo Uhin replaced Guillermo Ovando. Nicolas Inocente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leon Urdin in the 73rd minute of play. After 74 minutes ATLETICO MENDOZA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Romeo Lizer who took care of the corner kick. STARK F.C.'s Oscar Guerrero was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Nicolas Inocente in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Francisco Abascal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Nicolas Inocente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Francisco Abascal fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored STARK F.C.'s protests and gave Francisco Abascal a yellow card for diving instead. In the 80th match minute, STARK F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Abascal to maneuver through the defense. In the 82nd minute, Severo Satordi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of ATLETICO MENDOZA booed when STARK F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serafin Lleir didn't get a good kick on the ball. 87 minutes into the match, Francisco Abascal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nicolas Inocente. ATLETICO MENDOZA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Francisco Abascal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Leonel Obeko kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, ATLETICO MENDOZA's Justino Estevez ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gigi Buffon. Gigi Buffon yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. The STARK F.C. supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching ATLETICO MENDOZA's performance. The match ended with a win for ATLETICO MENDOZA.
