When Romeo Lizer fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored STARK F.C.'s protests and gave Romeo Lizer a yellow card for diving instead. In the 11th minute Kiril Kratunkov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gigi Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Tencho Genchev came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the DOROSTOL Ss fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tencho Genchev couldn't finish the play. Gigi Buffon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivo Mandev in the 19th minute of the match. The STARK F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gigi Buffon should have stopped the shot. STARK F.C.'s Gigi Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kiril Kratunkov in the 32nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, STARK F.C.'s Romeo Lizer got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Francisco Abascal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bozhidar Kishev having to make a save. In the 45th minute of the match, Francisco Abascal tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bozhidar Kishev saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Francisco Abascal was the one to do the kick off. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. DOROSTOL Ss had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
