With an all-out effort, Tiger's Olav Green threw himself towards the right post 70 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Edmund Schoettle, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Fulko Schwaderer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Olav Green made a huge save. Tiger's Kristian Willem Neuling played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronny Bruvoll in the 80th minute of play. Alfons Palmer charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Fulko Schwaderer who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 92ndth minute tested the skills of Olav Green when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Olav Green made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fulko Schwaderer in the 93rd minute of play. Tiger's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
