Ronny Bruvoll started the match with the kick off. Fredrik Unhjem kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Olav Green showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tytus Koprowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. After 7 played minutes Sagene IF got a freekick which was hit by Ronny Bruvoll. Sagene IF's Olav Green proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Sagene IF from getting a goal against them. 16 minutes into the match, Sagene IF's goal looked a bit too open when Slawomir Karp came free, but Olav Green reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zachariasz Gongolewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronny Bruvoll in the 18th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tytus Koprowski in the 24th minute of play forced Sagene IF's goalkeeper Olav Green to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Tytus Koprowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erik Ljosland kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Sagene IF's Olav Green proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Sagene IF from getting a goal against them. Roman Tomporowski hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Slawomir Karp stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Victor Holthe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 50th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zachariasz Gongolewicz having to interfere. 54 minutes into the match, Slawomir Karp had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Olav Green. Sagene IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Slawomir Karp was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Olav Green made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tytus Koprowski in the 62nd minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Ronny Bruvoll hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Śląsk Bytom getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Bogdan Chludzinski hit a great ball. Ronny Bruvoll sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Śląsk Bytom were awarded a corner in the 82th minute after Sagene IF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hugon Wojno took the corner. The corner ended in Hugon Wojno almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Sagene IF's Olav Green did a great save. The audience was convinced that Slawomir Karp's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Olav Green was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Slawomir Karp in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Olav Green saved Sagene IF from getting behind. Olav Green took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Slawomir Karp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Śląsk Bytom had won after a very even match.
