In the 8th minute, -BZF- Fc Gheraseni's Aurelian Acalinei dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Maurits Weinhardt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelian Acalinei in the 11th minute of play. In the 12th minute Aurelian Acalinei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurits Weinhardt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Eusebiu Levițchi took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Maurits Weinhardt to make any attempt to save it. In the 17th match minute, Pheonix FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stephan Gersfelt to maneuver through the defense. Stephan Gersfelt's late challenge caught a -BZF- Fc Gheraseni's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stephan Gersfelt helped the player get up and apologised. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aurelian Acalinei got free with Maurits Weinhardt in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Laust Kisling managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pheonix FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Laust Kisling was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Octav Hortopan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Maurits Weinhardt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aurelian Acalinei went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 33rd minute, Iordache Nica made a precise shot to the right of Maurits Weinhardt. Pheonix FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Avram Moise during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
