Lan Šorli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When Melvin Celarc fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored HIT Gorica's protests and gave Melvin Celarc a yellow card for diving instead. Melvin Celarc hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Lan Šorli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miromir Niziolek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zbigniew Czarnecki was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of HIT Gorica booed when Olympique Gdynia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wladyslaw Pietrasz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zbigniew Czarnecki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for HIT Gorica. After 86 played minutes Olympique Gdynia got a freekick which was hit by Krzysztof Warzycha. After a rather tough play, HIT Gorica's Ervin Žak got a free kick in the 93rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Miromir Niziolek got free with Lan Šorli in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
