In the 38th minute, Miroslaw Gollob hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jarbas Vinhas got free with Alfred Sowa in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tarcisio Sarmento's late challenge caught a BESTIA GDAŃSK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tarcisio Sarmento helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Montesclarense E.C. getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Tarcisio Sarmento hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 53rd match minute, BESTIA GDAŃSK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leon Bazan to maneuver through the defense. Montesclarense E.C.'s Luiz Eger proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Montesclarense E.C. from getting a goal against them. In the 73rd minute Cezary Domalik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Eger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The long shot by Leon Bazan in the 77th minute really tested Luiz Eger's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as BESTIA GDAŃSK's Miroslaw Gollob slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Luiz Eger. That made the score 1-3 after 86 minutes of play. Dariusz Birkenhagen kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. The Montesclarense E.C. supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching BESTIA GDAŃSK's performance. The match ended with a win for BESTIA GDAŃSK.
