In the 21st minute Gigel Bulgar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Onana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Duardo Cameno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Uzumaki FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Emmanuel Duran hit a great ball. Belarmo Vidal's late challenge caught a F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Belarmo Vidal helped the player get up and apologised. After 46 played minutes Uzumaki FC got a freekick which was hit by Belarmo Vidal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gigel Bulgar to strike the kick off in the second half. Claudiu Pușcașu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emmanuel Duran, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 54th play minute Aurel Blăjan came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised André Onana. 2-1.
