Silvano Tanio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Cesar Monico could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Valer Onișoru made a huge save. In the 14th minute Gigi Bobei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvano Tanio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 15 played minutes Putin Club - OFF got a freekick which was hit by Ceferino Hondo. Valer Onișoru made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cesar Monico in the 19th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Nereo Donzel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Putin Club - OFF's supporters rose to their feet, but Nereo Donzel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valer Onișoru breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Putin Club - OFF getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Alvaro Berasko hit a great ball. In the 25th minute, Gigi Bobei made a precise shot to the right of Silvano Tanio. Putin Club - OFF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Valer Onișoru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serafin Ugutz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 31 played minutes PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Culcer. When Natalio Ermano fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Putin Club - OFF's protests and gave Natalio Ermano a yellow card for diving instead. Silvano Tanio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Codruț Macaneață went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Silvano Tanio came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Gigi Bobei. But to his dismay, Gigi Bobei quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. In the 44th minute Iurie Poplăcan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvano Tanio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cesar Monico made a kick off. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Iurie Bănățeanu took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Silvano Tanio to make any attempt to save it. In the 57th minute, Leontin Titulescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Iurie Poplăcan kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. In the 63rd minute, Codruț Macaneață left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. Silvano Tanio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-9. Iurie Bănățeanu took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Silvano Tanio. Silvano Tanio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-10. Gigi Bobei could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Silvano Tanio made a huge save. After 79 played minutes Iurie Poplăcan rounded Putin Club - OFF's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-11. 88 minutes into the match, Putin Club - OFF's goalkeeper Silvano Tanio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Codruț Macaneață. In the 90th minute PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca were awarded a corner. Octavian Chiriacescu went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Octavian Chiriacescu to fire away a dangerous shot which Silvano Tanio despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Nereo Donzel scored 1-11 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Valer Onișoru, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 96 minutes into the match, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Codruț Macaneață sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Silvano Tanio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
