After a rather tough play, Soroca F.C.'s Ildefonso Lizbeth got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Constantino Erruki kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. István Udvari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angel Rubio having to interfere. In the 9th minute Soroca F.C. were awarded a corner. Nicanor Montae went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Nicanor Montae almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ágyúsok FC's Dömötör Szepesvári did a great save. Angel Rubio was a little too slow when Olivér Balázs got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 22nd minute. The score was now 1-0. Dömötör Szepesvári showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jürgen Klinsmann in the 25th minute of the match. After having played for 30 minutes, Jürgen Klinsmann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Soroca F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Jürgen Klinsmann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Carmelo Harkaitz fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Soroca F.C.'s protests and gave Carmelo Harkaitz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 43rd minute, Carmelo Harkaitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jürgen Klinsmann made a kick off. Dömötör Szepesvári made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ildefonso Lizbeth in the 51st minute of play. Dömötör Szepesvári showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jürgen Klinsmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Pascual Regis charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pascual Regis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Pascual Regis hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Angel Rubio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gergely Papp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Jürgen Klinsmann took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Dömötör Szepesvári to make any attempt to save it. Angel Rubio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olivér Balázs in the 70th minute of the match. A collision led to Soroca F.C. getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Uriel Precioso hit a great ball. Angel Rubio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from István Udvari, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Zoltán Tímár kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. A hard shot by Constantino Erruki from long distance, 80 minutes into the match, got Dömötör Szepesvári's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 83 minutes into the game, Ildefonso Lizbeth was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Soroca F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ágyúsok FC the free kick. Dömötör Szepesvári made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jürgen Klinsmann in the 86th minute of play. Ildefonso Lizbeth scored 1-2 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dömötör Szepesvári, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Soroca F.C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Soroca F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
