Gustavo Figueiredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Efrain Karmel in the 11th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Marcial Isaio could shoot a difficult shot in the 13th minute, which Gustavo Figueiredo however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Valle in the 16th minute of play forced RB Chubut's goalkeeper Domingos Grabiel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Horacio Cordarin hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Domingos Grabiel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alessandro Mendonça, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 23 minutes of play Bayern Lessa - u21's Zé Roberto Maciel was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 26th match minute, RB Chubut was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horacio Cordarin to maneuver through the defense. 27 minutes into the match, RB Chubut's goal looked a bit too open when Emerson Pirani came free, but Domingos Grabiel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lisandro Berenguer hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute, Wanderson Vides sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and RB Chubut's Domingos Grabiel didn't even have to move. In the 39th minute of the match, Tomás Chico tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gustavo Figueiredo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomás Chico made a kick off. After a rather tough play, RB Chubut's Horacio Cordarin got a free kick in the 54th minute. After 66 minutes, Efrain Karmel made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Bayern Lessa - u21's Gustavo Figueiredo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
