Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Remigio Morentin got the match started through his kick off. Procopio Masses came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by TAQUARI FC's José Carlos Meireles. But to his dismay, José Carlos Meireles quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Carlos Eduardo Teixeira scored 0-2 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Procopio Masses, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 21 minutes Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Augusto Ramos who took care of the corner kick. José Carlos Meireles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Procopio Masses tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Maximiliano Fonoll took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Cláudio Taffarel to make any attempt to save it. In the 30th minute, Carlos Eduardo Teixeira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Procopio Masses made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Carlos Meireles in the 34th minute of play. Jerardo Breijoo hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Carlos Meireles in the 37th minute of play forced Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's goalkeeper Procopio Masses to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. TAQUARI FC's José Carlos Meireles got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carlos Eduardo Teixeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Procopio Masses showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Carlos Meireles in the 41st minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Carlos Eduardo Teixeira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carlos Eduardo Teixeira was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan booed when TAQUARI FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Paulo de Queiroz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, TAQUARI FC's Zé Paulo de Queiroz got a free kick in the 63rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Xerardo Mazas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's supporters rose to their feet, but Xerardo Mazas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cláudio Taffarel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to TAQUARI FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Augusto Ramos hit a great ball. Lalo Langayo kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. After 70 played minutes TAQUARI FC got a freekick which was hit by Maicon Baiano. Procopio Masses showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Carlos Meireles in the 73rd minute of the match. Procopio Masses didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlos Eduardo Teixeira went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. After 82 played minutes Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan got a freekick which was hit by Lalo Langayo. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Deportivo Qhapaq Ñan's goalkeeper Procopio Masses, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. TAQUARI FC's Cláudio Taffarel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximiliano Fonoll in the 92nd minute of play.
