Rien Bakker kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Heiko Blees kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Derk van Boxel in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Heinz-Gerd Vogel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, KIEZKICKER's Christen Zeul got a free kick in the 9th minute. After 11 minutes of play, Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Derk van Boxel made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Heinz-Gerd Vogel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Izaak Struik got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rien Bakker in the 18th minute of play forced KIEZKICKER's goalkeeper Heinz-Gerd Vogel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcel Hartel kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. A collision led to Julias Rascals Apeldoorn getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Izaak Struik hit a great ball. Tonio Baron hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. 30 minutes into the match, Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Roelof van Kampen broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Jackson Irvine who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 44thth minute tested the skills of Taco Zwartkruis when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Derk van Boxel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 50 played minutes Julias Rascals Apeldoorn got a freekick which was hit by Henk Pieters. In the 56th minute Jackson Irvine shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Taco Zwartkruis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Jackson Irvine managed to get in a good position for a shot. KIEZKICKER's supporters rose to their feet, but Jackson Irvine was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Taco Zwartkruis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dino Wolf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Taco Zwartkruis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcel Hartel kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. A hard shot by Luuk Harmannus from long distance, 79 minutes into the match, got Heinz-Gerd Vogel's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Heinz-Gerd Vogel made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Rien Bakker sent off a good shot on target. If Jackson Irvine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jackson Irvine sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Taco Zwartkruis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jackson Irvine in the 90th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jackson Irvine in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Taco Zwartkruis saved Julias Rascals Apeldoorn from getting behind.
