Dante Lluc hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. 8 minutes into the match, Luciano Bastia dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Filinto Santarém, 1-0. Desfachatados F.C.'s Luciano Bastia got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 13 played minutes Cassandros Elite Team got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Mascarenhas. Filinto Santarém took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luciano Bastia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 17th play minutes Luciano Bastia shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Filinto Santarém and just under the crossbar into goal. Desfachatados F.C.'s Luciano Bastia got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vicente Castel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julião Manso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Filinto Santarém made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roberto Cerilo in the 36th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Cassandros Elite Team's zone, Tomás Breogan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filinto Santarém came out of the goal and Tomás Breogan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Luciano Bastia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Filinto Santarém was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. 43 minutes into the match, Cassandros Elite Team's goal looked a bit too open when Luciano Bastia came free, but Filinto Santarém reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th minute, João Tristão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The attack was good, but when Ramiro Etxatxu in the 47th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal.

Tomás Breogan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Filinto Santarém tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 56 played minutes Cassandros Elite Team got a freekick which was hit by João Tristão. If Luciano Bastia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adriano Vilaça received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. In the 64th minute Felipe Platon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filinto Santarém saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, Luciano Bastia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Filinto Santarém. Cassandros Elite Team's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luciano Bastia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Desfachatados F.C.'s Sergio Uhin was substituted for Roberto Cerilo. If Felipe Platon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ramiro Etxatxu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filinto Santarém having to interfere. 88 minutes into the game, Luciano Bastia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Filinto Santarém was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 92 minutes into the match, Cassandros Elite Team's goal looked a bit too open when Luciano Bastia came free, but Filinto Santarém reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ramiro Etxatxu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filinto Santarém having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Desfachatados F.C. fully deserved thier win.
