The audience thought a goal was coming when Avelino Madruga got free with Mariano Selmo in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 22 played minutes SLB TELHA got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Santana. Rosendo Elivareo hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. 27 minutes into the match, Avelino Madruga notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of El Tiki-Tiki de Cappa's Mariano Selmo. Mariano Selmo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fernando Bento took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mariano Selmo. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alfonso Amato to make the kick off. Mariano Selmo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Rosendo Elivareo's late challenge caught a SLB TELHA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rosendo Elivareo helped the player get up and apologised.
