Honorato Guillelme charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Honorato Guillelme the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Honorato Guillelme kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. In the 3rd minute of the match Beržas Burnickas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Raul Jax showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cirilo Fernandes during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 19 played minutes Geležinis Vilkas got a freekick which was hit by Beržas Burnickas. After 20 played minutes, A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's Leon Tono shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eitautas Pažarskis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in A.D Atlético Villa Gesell reached it. Severo Lano kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Saulius Barsys fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raul Jax having to interfere. Eitautas Pažarskis was a little too slow when Severo Lano got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 36th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 44th minute Saulius Barsys shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raul Jax saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Severo Lano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Bronislovas Abraitis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sixto Nalo in the 67th minute of play forced Geležinis Vilkas's goalkeeper Eitautas Pažarskis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Geležinis Vilkas getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Beržas Burnickas hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saulius Barsys in the 75th minute of play forced A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's goalkeeper Raul Jax to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Juozas Zelmikas got free with Raul Jax in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With an all-out effort, Geležinis Vilkas's Raul Jax threw himself towards the right post 85 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bronislovas Abraitis, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Many of Geležinis Vilkas's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Geležinis Vilkas may have spent more time on the ball, but A.D Atlético Villa Gesell were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
