Melquiades Salvatore didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Momlinho. FC Momlinho's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atlético Atlanta the free kick. Club Atlético Atlanta's Melquiades Salvatore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gert Pihl in the 56th minute of play. The supporters of Club Atlético Atlanta booed when FC Momlinho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harald Wallander didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in FC Momlinho's zone, Anselmo Sarracino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mattias Gallin came out of the goal and Anselmo Sarracino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Club Atlético Atlanta booed when FC Momlinho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stig-Åke Fanström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Club Atlético Atlanta were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
