Helmut Türkmen hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Eduard Groscurth didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teofilo Sansone went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 8 minutes into the game, Arnoldo Solustiano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Eduard Groscurth was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benny Albermann during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 10th minute, Benny Albermann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvestre Cordarius in the 11th minute of play forced Baersdonk's goalkeeper Eduard Groscurth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eduard Groscurth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teofilo Sansone in the 13th minute of the match. The supporters of DON RAMON 72 booed when Baersdonk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgil Rybohl didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th match minute, Baersdonk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfred Hoefer to maneuver through the defense. Eduard Groscurth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teofilo Sansone in the 16th minute of the match. Alfred Hoefer took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Esteban Grabiel. Esteban Grabiel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Virgil Rybohl got his second yellow card in the match during the 32nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Virgil Rybohl kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Baersdonk's goal looked a bit too open when Arnoldo Solustiano came free, but Eduard Groscurth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Baersdonk's goal looked a bit too open when Teofilo Sansone came free, but Eduard Groscurth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Baersdonk's Eduard Groscurth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofilo Sansone in the 46th minute of play. Eduard Groscurth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Goito, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. After the first half DON RAMON 72 were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teofilo Sansone to make the kick off. Baersdonk's Eduard Groscurth proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Baersdonk from getting a goal against them. 54 minutes into the match, Baersdonk's goalkeeper Eduard Groscurth had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arnoldo Solustiano. Juan Goito received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eduard Groscurth came out and tried to block the shot, but Juan Goito slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 57th minute. Eduard Groscurth came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by DON RAMON 72's Arnoldo Solustiano. But to his dismay, Arnoldo Solustiano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. After 64 minutes, Axel Mört mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Baersdonk and the DON RAMON 72 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Baersdonk's Axel Mört got a free kick in the 65th minute. Tomás Abecia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Eduard Groscurth made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Baersdonk's Franz Hestler got a free kick in the 68th minute. With a little luck, Baersdonk's Eduard Groscurth got control of the ball when Leonides Sugar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Baersdonk's defense didn't have a chance, in the 90th minute, when Teofilo Sansone scored to the left of an out of position Eduard Groscurth, making the score, 1-6. In the 93rd minute, Enrique Quilo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eduard Groscurth was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-7. The Baersdonk fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. DON RAMON 72 were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
