An unexpectedly hard shot by Placido Hammer in the 33rd minute of play forced Edson Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Richard Luz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Edson Futebol Clube's zone, Mattia Lütolf stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Richard Luz came out of the goal and Mattia Lütolf tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edson Futebol Clube's Richard Luz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Placido Hammer in the 37th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Edson Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Placido Hammer came free, but Richard Luz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Nilmar Linares managed to get in a good position for a shot. Edson Futebol Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Nilmar Linares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Placido Hammer was the one to do the kick off. Zé Pedro Garcia charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 60th minute, Zé Pedro Garcia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 65 minutes of play, THE ROKERY PIMKIS's Placido Hammer made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Richard Luz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nilmar Linares struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Tiberio Ciprella didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Edson Futebol Clube. THE ROKERY PIMKIS made a substitution. Ron Steffen replaced Mattia Lütolf. THE ROKERY PIMKIS's Falco Achen was substituted for Michele Pfäffli. In the 74th minute, Gianluca Richter ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Richard Luz was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Placido Hammer in the 94th minute of play forced Edson Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Richard Luz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. THE ROKERY PIMKIS had played much better football throughout.
