Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Richard Luz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Martino Otero went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 24 minutes into the match, Edson Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Martino Otero came free, but Richard Luz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manolo Gimenez's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Richard Luz firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 31st minute, Zé Pedro Garcia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nuno Guitart was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After a rather tough play, Edson Futebol Clube's Júlio Vinhas got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 37th minute, Martino Otero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 41st minute, one of Edson Futebol Clube:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Edson Futebol Clube. The goalkeeper, Richard Luz, was totally fooled by Mete y Raspa FC's Martino Otero, who 42 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nilmar Linares to make the kick off. When Manolo Gimenez fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mete y Raspa FC's protests and gave Manolo Gimenez a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Mete y Raspa FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Manolo Gimenez hit a great ball. When Nilmar Linares came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Edson Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nilmar Linares couldn't finish the play. Edson Futebol Clube's Enéas Barros got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 60 minutes of play, Mete y Raspa FC's Hondo Gos made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Richard Luz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nuno Guitart stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Caetano Nunes's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. When Manolo Gimenez was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 72 minutes had been played. In the 72nd minute, Manolo Gimenez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caetano Nunes in the 74th minute of play forced Mete y Raspa FC's goalkeeper Nuno Guitart to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Edson Futebol Clube booed when Mete y Raspa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inge Pisciña didn't get a good kick on the ball. 81 minutes into the game, Perivaldo Barral was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Edson Futebol Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mete y Raspa FC the free kick. Perivaldo Barral kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Caetano Nunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Veronica Pandal's late challenge caught a Edson Futebol Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Veronica Pandal helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Mete y Raspa FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Veronica Pandal hit a great ball. If Nilmar Linares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Mete y Raspa FC booed when Edson Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caetano Nunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mete y Raspa FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
