With his leg Emil Nyström managed to avoid a goal in the 2ndth minute, when ORIZABA F.C.'s Dante Txema fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After having played for 6 minutes, Zeledon Oinaz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ORIZABA F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Zeledon Oinaz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Huvudstaden booed when ORIZABA F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesar Lop didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cesar Lop struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Emil Nyström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ORIZABA F.C.. After a rather tough play, Huvudstaden's Jens-Åke Alfors got a free kick in the 21st minute. Dante Txema who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Emil Nyström when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Dante Txema did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Emil Nyström 29 minutes into the match. If Dante Txema had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, ORIZABA F.C.'s Ramon George got a free kick in the 44th minute. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind ORIZABA F.C.'s goalkeeper Victor Maxin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dante Txema to strike the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 51 minutes, Victor Maxin successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A collision led to ORIZABA F.C. getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Eugenio Honrio hit a great ball. Emil Nyström came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by ORIZABA F.C.'s Cesar Lop. But to his dismay, Cesar Lop quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. If Cesar Lop had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the ORIZABA F.C. defense, Jens-Åke Alfors kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Victor Maxin. The ORIZABA F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Victor Maxin should have stopped the shot. 80 minutes into the game, Cesar Lop cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Emil Nyström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Carl Alefors fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Maxin having to interfere. In the 88th match minute, ORIZABA F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamin Terciero to maneuver through the defense. Victor Maxin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yngve Ugla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Huvudstaden's Emil Nyström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Terciero in the 95th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, ORIZABA F.C. could leave the field as winners, despite Huvudstaden having more of the ball for most of the match.
