The referee ignored North Hill United's protests and gave Steffen Van Hermenghem a yellow card for diving instead. Steffen Van Hermenghem kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. 许森战 took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 32nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Youri Van Geele. North Hill United's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 35 minutes, Arnauld Gramet mouthed his way into the referee's book. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bill Baert made a kick off. Steffen Van Hermenghem hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bill Baert in the 90th minute of play forced 大石桥市石佛通达足球俱乐部's goalkeeper 崔博珂 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Youri Van Geele made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 何杰坚 in the 96th minute of play. Many of 大石桥市石佛通达足球俱乐部's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. 大石桥市石佛通达足球俱乐部 may have spent more time on the ball, but North Hill United were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
