The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Francesco Toldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Venancio Sarracino in the 4th minute of the match. In the 9th match minute, THE CLUB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodosi Baydanov to maneuver through the defense. 12 minutes into the game, Ognyan Istatkov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. THE CLUB's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo Gamberro the free kick. Ognyan Istatkov kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. After 13 minutes, Roman Reynardo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deportivo Gamberro and the THE CLUB players grew even worse after the yellow card. The goalkeeper, Francesco Toldo, was totally fooled by Deportivo Gamberro's Efrain Evis, who 18 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 21st minute Venancio Sarracino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francesco Toldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 24 minutes, Tony Manerov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deportivo Gamberro and the THE CLUB players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tony Manerov kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. When Marcelo Orti fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Gamberro's protests and gave Marcelo Orti a yellow card for diving instead. In the 42nd minute there was a penalty for THE CLUB. Vangel Yurukov stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Maximino Ieltxu. 1-1. Maximino Ieltxu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ganyo Semerdzhiev in the 46th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 51st minute, Marco Verratti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Francesco Toldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tony Manerov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maximino Ieltxu made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Svetozar Popchev sent off a good shot on target. 63 minutes into the match, Venancio Sarracino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Francesco Toldo. THE CLUB's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Venancio Sarracino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Deportivo Gamberro made a substitution. Nicasio Cordaro replaced Tony Manerov. Francesco Toldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Primitivo Cordaro in the 68th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the THE CLUB players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Deportivo Gamberro.
