The crowd rose to their feet as Przemysl's Waldemar Jakubiak slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mait Klaas. That made the score 1-0 after 9 minutes of play. Piotr Olejniczak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tom Loss, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Arvo Lätti hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Tom Loss scored 2-1 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Piotr Olejniczak, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mait Klaas was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Klement Brataniec. Klement Brataniec struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Mait Klaas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Przemysl. After 30 played minutes FC Dundee got a freekick which was hit by Edmund Saareoja. 32 minutes into the match, FC Dundee's goal looked a bit too open when Borys Wasikowski came free, but Mait Klaas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of FC Dundee booed when Przemysl was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateusz Pyrtek didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Borys Wasikowski in the 43rd minute of play forced FC Dundee's goalkeeper Mait Klaas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mait Klaas was out of position in the 45 minute of play, and Borys Wasikowski capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Borys Wasikowski really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.
