When Leonides Enaut fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Legacy Youth Academy's protests and gave Leonides Enaut a yellow card for diving instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sílvio Luiz Fantini during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 37 played minutes Villa Verde FC got a freekick which was hit by Sílvio Luiz Fantini. When Leonides Enaut came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Legacy Youth Academy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonides Enaut couldn't finish the play. Váldson Koehler hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Legacy Youth Academy's Leonides Enaut couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 41st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Villa Verde FC. The supporters of Legacy Youth Academy booed when Villa Verde FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Váldson Koehler didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Legacy Youth Academy were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paulo Lago made a kick off. A collision led to Legacy Youth Academy getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abelardo Cesario got free with Thiago Paraense in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
