The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Monico Ybañez helped the player get up and apologised. In the 7th minute of the match Marcial Tarin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Patxi Artime showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Victoriano Ecija took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laurentzi Mediavilla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute, ℄ΣᏩモ₦ፚ ℱ.Ȼ's Reynardo Aliceda dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 21st match minute, Cuatrodeocho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Regis Erosa to maneuver through the defense. Patxi Artime came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Cuatrodeocho's Uriel Zubiaga. But to his dismay, Uriel Zubiaga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Obeko Sotorrio in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Victoriano Ecija saved Cuatrodeocho from getting behind. Cuatrodeocho's Victoriano Ecija proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Cuatrodeocho from getting a goal against them. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

53 minutes into the game, ℄ΣᏩモ₦ፚ ℱ.Ȼ's Obeko Sotorrio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Victoriano Ecija made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Cuatrodeocho's zone, Illan Lomeli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victoriano Ecija came out of the goal and Illan Lomeli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. ℄ΣᏩモ₦ፚ ℱ.Ȼ were furious when Cristian Pravia was red carded, 70 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 71 played minutes ℄ΣᏩモ₦ፚ ℱ.Ȼ got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Pravia. Patxi Artime made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcial Tarin in the 72nd minute of play. The supporters of ℄ΣᏩモ₦ፚ ℱ.Ȼ booed when Cuatrodeocho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcial Tarin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cuatrodeocho made a substitution. Luis Aragones replaced Belo Sauca. Cuatrodeocho made a substitution. Vergaray Echeto replaced Regis Erosa. Illan Lomeli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victoriano Ecija having to interfere. Quinito Cifuentes charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Quinito Cifuentes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 92nd minute, Quinito Cifuentes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. ℄ΣᏩモ₦ፚ ℱ.Ȼ's Obeko Sotorrio got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 97th minute Obeko Sotorrio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victoriano Ecija saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There was no doubt that ℄ΣᏩモ₦ፚ ℱ.Ȼ were the better team. ℄ΣᏩモ₦ፚ ℱ.Ȼ's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
