In the 15th minute, Pilar FC's Elpidio Ado seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Elpidio Ado the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Pilar FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Elpidio Ado had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 14th minute of the game. One of Pilar FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Deportivo Popolizio FBC:s goal. The referee gave Deportivo Popolizio FBC a penalty, 16 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Pierres Baz, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Pilar FC's Silvio Cordairo. 1-1. When Juan Labarrita came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Deportivo Popolizio FBC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan Labarrita couldn't finish the play. Teofilo Alcala hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Jose Galindo charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jose Galindo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jose Galindo kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Deportivo Popolizio FBC's goalkeeper Phelipe Escarza, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramiro Bertran in the 32nd minute of play forced Deportivo Popolizio FBC's goalkeeper Phelipe Escarza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jose Galindo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Phelipe Escarza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cesareo Milla kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. In the 44th minute of the match Ildefonso Fortun shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Phelipe Escarza showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Silvio Cordairo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elodio Heras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silvio Cordairo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabon Castrejana in the 46th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gabon Castrejana to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Gabon Castrejana ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Silvio Cordairo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elodio Heras during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 58 played minutes Deportivo Popolizio FBC got a freekick which was hit by Elodio Heras. Feliberto Mederi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 70th match minute, Pilar FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodosio Asier to maneuver through the defense. Phelipe Escarza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramiro Bertran in the 75th minute of play. Silvio Cordairo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elodio Heras in the 78th minute. After 81 played minutes Deportivo Popolizio FBC got a freekick which was hit by Cordarryl Garaizar. Silvio Cordairo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabon Castrejana in the 93rd minute of play.
