After a defensive mix-up in Legia Warszawa's zone, Gordon Fuglevig stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zbigniew Burufski came out of the goal and Gordon Fuglevig tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 21st minute Randers A.F.C. were awarded a corner. Gordon Fuglevig went to the cornerflag to take it. Randers A.F.C.'s Gordon Fuglevig was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Zbigniew Burufski in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Andre Baagland, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 21 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Zbigniew Burufski was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Mikolaj Paraszczuk hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Kryspin Bazan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Asgar Stegener managed to get in a good position for a shot. Randers A.F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Asgar Stegener was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zbigniew Burufski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mikolaj Paraszczuk kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 39th minute of the match Gordon Fuglevig shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zbigniew Burufski showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Asgar Stegener sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Asgar Stegener received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kryspin Bazan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Kryspin Bazan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 61 played minutes Legia Warszawa got a freekick which was hit by Mikolaj Paraszczuk. 63 minutes into the match, Gordon Fuglevig dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Zbigniew Burufski, 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andre Baagland in the 66th minute of play forced Legia Warszawa's goalkeeper Zbigniew Burufski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gordon Fuglevig in the 73rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Zbigniew Burufski, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A well done corner resulted in Gordon Fuglevig drilling the ball in to score 0-4 behind Legia Warszawa's goalkeeper. In the 83rd minute, Wasyl Beninda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gordon Fuglevig, 84 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Frans Beilegaard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th match minute, Legia Warszawa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernard Mindykowski to maneuver through the defense. Zbigniew Burufski made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Gordon Fuglevig sent off a good shot on target. When the final whistle sounded Randers A.F.C. left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Legia Warszawa.
