Giovanni de Toledo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 11 minutes into the game, Alfonso Betadur was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Minotauro the free kick. In the 19th minute Raul Ekhi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giovanni de Toledo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cleto Saturnin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Giovanni de Toledo made a huge save. Marcos Lauren hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. After 28 played minutes Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka got a freekick which was hit by Cleto Saturnin. In the 29th minute, João Guimarães got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 31 minutes into the match, Minotauro's goalkeeper Giovanni de Toledo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustavo Sotero. With splendid footwork Raul Ekhi arrived in front of goal to shoot 3-0 by the left pole in the game's 32nd minute. Giovanni de Toledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raul Ekhi in the 36th minute of play. Minotauro's Giovanni de Toledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eustacio Patxi in the 37th minute of play. Giovanni de Toledo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cleto Saturnin in the 38th minute of the match. After 41 minutes, Aloísio Mesquita mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Minotauro and the Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka players grew even worse after the yellow card. The long shot by Raul Ekhi in the 42nd minute really tested Giovanni de Toledo's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Felippe Donatello made the kick off in the second half. Moises Espiridion took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Gaspar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Giovanni de Toledo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cleto Saturnin in the 54th minute of the match. 56 minutes into the match, Minotauro's goal looked a bit too open when Raul Ekhi came free, but Giovanni de Toledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Minotauro's Giovanni de Toledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Sotero in the 58th minute of play. Giovanni de Toledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raul Ekhi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 64 minutes, Gustavo Sotero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustavo Sotero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gustavo Sotero in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Giovanni de Toledo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Giovanni de Toledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cleto Saturnin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th match minute, Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eustacio Patxi to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felippe Donatello got free with Moises Espiridion in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Minotauro defense, Marcos Lauren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Giovanni de Toledo. The Minotauro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Giovanni de Toledo should have stopped the shot. Giovanni de Toledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cleto Saturnin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Eustacio Patxi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's supporters rose to their feet, but Eustacio Patxi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Giovanni de Toledo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Minotauro's Giovanni de Toledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cleto Saturnin in the 93rd minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
