The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, AFC Ajax's Daniil Vouzas got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Jan Viberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paschalis Kitsas in the 8th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Paschalis Kitsas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jan Viberg, 1-0. Thanasis Iliopoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hans Mattsson in the 17th minute of the match. Conny Myhr sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute, Menios Katsiaros ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jan Viberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nestoras Xanthopoulos got free with Jan Viberg in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 33 minutes of play, Agge BK's Hans Mattsson made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thanasis Iliopoulos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mats Duset charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mats Duset the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Through an outstanding action, after 45 minutes, Jan Viberg successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Jan Viberg made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Nontas Livaditis sent off a good shot on target. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

AFC Ajax's Giannis Platis was substituted for Gerasimos Liakos. AFC Ajax's Giannis Rafailakis was substituted for Nontas Livaditis. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paschalis Kitsas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Paschalis Kitsas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jan Viberg. Agge BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paschalis Kitsas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. In the 60th minute, Giannis Rafailakis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AFC Ajax fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. After a rather tough play, AFC Ajax's Giannis Platis got a free kick in the 63rd minute. A hard shot 66 in the game by Boris Odin from a close distance when the talented Thanasis Iliopoulos managed to make a qualified save. AFC Ajax's players were relieved. Thanasis Iliopoulos made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Isaac Smed sent off a good shot on target. Jan Viberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nestoras Xanthopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 72 minutes into the match, Giannis Rafailakis notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Agge BK's Jan Viberg. Jan Viberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jan Viberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nestoras Xanthopoulos's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. After 81 played minutes AFC Ajax got a freekick which was hit by Paschalis Kitsas. A collision led to Agge BK getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Isaac Smed hit a great ball. In the 86th minute of the match, Hans Mattsson got a very nice opportunity to score, but Thanasis Iliopoulos was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Pavlos Samaris kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Jan Viberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giannis Rafailakis in the 89th minute of the match. Nestoras Xanthopoulos hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paschalis Kitsas in the 95th minute of play forced Agge BK's goalkeeper Jan Viberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 97 minutes into the game, when Manolis Moustakis put in a rough tackle. 97 minutes into the game, one of AFC Ajax:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. AFC Ajax were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Agge BK for a fine match.
