The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Malik Vrignon made the kick off in the second half. With his leg Kader Raguin managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when Mercado Paulista F.C's Severo Eliazar fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 53rd match minute, Mercado Paulista F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramon Tancredo to maneuver through the defense. In the 56th minute, Salomon Got made a precise shot to the right of Elvio Illart. Mercado Paulista F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Bruno Dunoyer took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Elvio Illart. Herblay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mercado Paulista F.C the free kick. The supporters of Mercado Paulista F.C booed when Herblay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Grégoire Pujol didn't get a good kick on the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Salomon Got notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Mercado Paulista F.C's Elvio Illart. Elvio Illart was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Herblay's Grégoire Pujol got a free kick in the 81st minute. Mercado Paulista F.C's Remigio Paublo shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 81st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Kader Raguin but with some difficulty. Kader Raguin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Severo Eliazar in the 85th minute. In the 91st minute, Salomon Got ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elvio Illart was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Mercado Paulista F.C's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
