Jacinto Vicentens came out of the goal and Henry Bada tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vladimiro Cangas in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vinicio Collado saved Astillero del Guayas from getting behind. In the 35th minute Renato Abufom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vinicio Collado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vladimiro Cangas succeeded in the game's 43rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. In the 48th match minute, Club Deportivo Xpertin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vladimiro Cangas to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

With a little luck, Astillero del Guayas's Vinicio Collado got control of the ball when Renato Abufom tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jacinto Vicentens came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Astillero del Guayas's Henry Bada. But to his dismay, Henry Bada quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. A collision led to Astillero del Guayas getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Lastra Trilla hit a great ball. If Henry Bada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th minute, Vladimiro Cangas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 81st match minute, Club Deportivo Xpertin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gary Medel to maneuver through the defense. Vinicio Collado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vladimiro Cangas, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute.
