Modesto Weterio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bebeto de Godoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th minute of the match, Mauricio Gartzea tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Vânderson Severo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to ALMA GUERREIRA getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Dráusio Valladares hit a great ball. In the 19th minute, Vito Mota ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Modesto Weterio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 22nd minute, Benjamin Pudes made a precise shot to the right of Vânderson Severo. ALMA GUERREIRA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. A collision led to ALMA GUERREIRA getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Bebeto de Godoi hit a great ball. If Vito Mota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Modesto Weterio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bebeto de Godoi in the 38th minute of play. Saturnino Furtado hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. 40 minutes into the match, ᴄʟᴜʙ ᴀᴛʟᴇᴛɪᴄᴏ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ's goal looked a bit too open when Bebeto de Godoi came free, but Modesto Weterio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vito Mota to make the kick off. Modesto Weterio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vito Mota in the 54th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Gerardo Arnau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dráusio Valladares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Modesto Weterio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Modesto Weterio made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Bebeto de Godoi sent off a good shot on target. ALMA GUERREIRA's Vito Mota got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 77th minute, Mauricio Gartzea ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vânderson Severo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. After a rather tough play, ALMA GUERREIRA's Dráusio Valladares got a free kick in the 81st minute. If Vito Mota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. When the match had been going on for 94 minutes, ALMA GUERREIRA's Geovânio do Nascimento got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Modesto Weterio. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. ALMA GUERREIRA had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
