Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Teodosio Herena took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the match, CE LAJEADENSE RS's goal looked a bit too open when Ermegildo Dimas came free, but Flavinho Reis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 6th minute Ermegildo Dimas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavinho Reis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 6 played minutes CE LAJEADENSE RS got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Silva. Danilo Mangueira lost his temper 11 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 15th minute Victorio Jenaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavinho Reis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sidney Vianna kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Flavinho Reis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victorio Jenaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gilvan Moura might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alvaro Chesus. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gilvan Moura ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodosio Herena in the 28th minute of play forced CE LAJEADENSE RS's goalkeeper Flavinho Reis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Geronimo Elivareo kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Gilvan Moura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35th match minute, KIRICOCHO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geronimo Elivareo to maneuver through the defense. In the 36th minute, Laerte Vianna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 38 minutes into the match, Gilvan Moura had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alvaro Chesus. KIRICOCHO FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gilvan Moura was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sidney Vianna got free with Alvaro Chesus in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Gilvan Moura made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of CE LAJEADENSE RS booed when KIRICOCHO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ermegildo Dimas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alvaro Chesus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sidney Vianna in the 52nd minute of play. In the 55th match minute, CE LAJEADENSE RS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilvan Moura to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in KIRICOCHO FC's zone, Gilvan Moura stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alvaro Chesus came out of the goal and Gilvan Moura tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 63 minutes, Eliseo Indar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KIRICOCHO FC and the CE LAJEADENSE RS players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 62nd minute of the game. One of KIRICOCHO FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of CE LAJEADENSE RS:s goal. KIRICOCHO FC:s Alvaro Chesus showed great skill when he stopped Caio Ramos:s penalty. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind KIRICOCHO FC's goalkeeper Alvaro Chesus, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The KIRICOCHO FC fans' excitement grew in the 68th match minute when KIRICOCHO FC's Victorio Jenaro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. CE LAJEADENSE RS made a substitution. Oséas Miranda replaced Bernardo de Carvalho. Sidney Vianna charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sidney Vianna the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 76th match minute, CE LAJEADENSE RS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sidney Vianna to maneuver through the defense. In the 77th minute of the match Geronimo Elivareo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Flavinho Reis skillfully saved the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as KIRICOCHO FC's Victorio Jenaro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Flavinho Reis. That made the score 1-2 after 93 minutes of play. Octavio Pagomari's late challenge caught a CE LAJEADENSE RS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Octavio Pagomari helped the player get up and apologised. Gilvan Moura recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
