Ab Eefting started the match with the kick off. 7 minutes into the game, Beetje Moe Re-United's Ab Eefting nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yatna Tomagola made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Kabul Sonjaya took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Remond Struik to make any attempt to save it. In the 14th minute Kabul Sonjaya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remond Struik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kristian Ijkwezen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yatna Tomagola having to interfere. Beetje Moe Re-United's defense didn't have a chance, in the 24th minute, when Datuk Barkawi scored to the left of an out of position Remond Struik, making the score, 2-1. Yatna Tomagola stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ab Eefting's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serge Schophuis in the 34th minute of play forced AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's goalkeeper Yatna Tomagola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute, AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's Yusril Baso seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Yusril Baso the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Yusril Baso had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 37th match minute, AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yusril Baso to maneuver through the defense. Yatna Tomagola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serge Schophuis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC defense, Serge Schophuis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yatna Tomagola. The AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yatna Tomagola should have stopped the shot. If Harry Barus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Harry Barus stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Yatna Tomagola was a little too slow when Ab Eefting got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 51st minute. The score was now 2-3. Remond Struik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harry Barus in the 61st minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Beetje Moe Re-United's goal looked a bit too open when Datuk Barkawi came free, but Remond Struik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Beetje Moe Re-United getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Jan Schenning hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Harry Barus's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Remond Struik was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Jelmer Holt's late challenge caught a AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jelmer Holt helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Beetje Moe Re-United getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Jelmer Holt hit a great ball. Remond Struik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kabul Sonjaya in the 73rd minute of play. If Kabul Sonjaya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th minute Ab Eefting shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yatna Tomagola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Remond Struik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harry Barus in the 84th minute of play. Remond Struik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kabul Sonjaya in the 87th minute of play. In the 93rd minute Harry Barus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remond Struik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Beetje Moe Re-United walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
