With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rômulo de Almeida prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Deportivo Balvanera's Cayetano Behe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nilson Paraibano in the 9th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's goalkeeper Rômulo de Almeida had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Diego Milito. Chicão Matos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cayetano Behe having to interfere. Cayetano Behe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Alcântara in the 16th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute of the match, Diego Milito tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rômulo de Almeida saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With a little luck, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Rômulo de Almeida got control of the ball when Joaquin Nofre tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 24 minutes Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Severiano Taurino who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Deportivo Balvanera's Severiano Taurino to fire away a dangerous shot which Rômulo de Almeida despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquin Nofre in the 27th minute of play forced Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's goalkeeper Rômulo de Almeida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Rondinone F.C - FDFDF booed when Deportivo Balvanera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacinto Senon didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Deportivo Balvanera defense, Daniel Alcântara kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cayetano Behe. The Deportivo Balvanera fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cayetano Behe should have stopped the shot. After the first half Rondinone F.C - FDFDF were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Alcântara to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Esteban Acuña hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nilson Paraibano got free with Cayetano Behe in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Daniel Alcântara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Cayetano Behe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cayetano Behe was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nilson Paraibano showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 59 minute of play. Deportivo Balvanera's Venancio Chaime was substituted for Florencio Paz. Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Falcão Marques was substituted for Nilson Paraibano. Isaltino Tande didn't get a good kick on the ball. Severiano Taurino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
