After 32 played minutes CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land got a freekick which was hit by Pascoal Alvarenga. The referee ignored CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's protests and gave Rei Duarte a yellow card for diving instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dorival Matorin to strike the kick off in the second half. Alexandre Veríssimo hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute Dorival Matorin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but King Duarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had been going on for 74 minutes, CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's Pascoal Alvarenga got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Kléberson Abraão. Kléberson Abraão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Don Duarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kauã Trancoso in the 92nd minute of play forced CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's goalkeeper King Duarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Figueira SC FSCMZ manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land to win.
