The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Rômulo de Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celsinho da Silveira in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celsinho da Silveira in the 19th minute of play forced Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's goalkeeper Rômulo de Almeida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute Yuri Alberto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rômulo de Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nilson Paraibano got free with Osvaldo Marques in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Daniel Alcântara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Daniel Alcântara took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Osvaldo Marques to make any attempt to save it. 45 minutes into the game, Daniel Alcântara cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Osvaldo Marques was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nilson Paraibano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nilson Paraibano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 50th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bernardo Dante charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. But to his dismay, Igor Coronado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. After a rather tough play, MAZER SAF's Bernardo Dante got a free kick in the 90th minute. Nuno Rosado kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. A collision led to MAZER SAF getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Félix Torres hit a great ball. After 95 played minutes, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Róbson Prata shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Osvaldo Marques came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rondinone F.C - FDFDF reached it. After 95 played minutes MAZER SAF got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Fabiano Abraão. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
