After some careless play in the F.C. Graal defense, Witold Bycofski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Igor Tworek. The F.C. Graal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Igor Tworek should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, F.C. Graal's Dariusz Pusiak got a free kick in the 40th minute. Igor Tworek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Witold Bycofski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lucjan Lamczyk's late challenge caught a U21 Poland's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The U21 Poland fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. If Zdzislaw Rydzewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Grzegorz Czerwinski came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the U21 Poland fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Grzegorz Czerwinski couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Grzegorz Czerwinski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Igor Tworek was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. 88 minutes into the match, Grzegorz Czerwinski dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Igor Tworek, 0-7. Graal fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. U21 Poland were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
