The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Stade Ygossais's Valérien Jouglet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 2nd minute of the match, managed to save Stade Ygossais from getting a goal against them. Hector Jacquier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Éluard Marcellin kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. If Carlos Bartolome had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valérien Jouglet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimeno Millano in the 19th minute of play. Valérien Jouglet was out of position in the 21 minute of play, and Carlos Bartolome capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Carlos Bartolome really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Cura del Futbol's Gilberto Hernandez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hector Jacquier in the 26th minute of play. After 28 minutes of play, Cura del Futbol's Carlos Bartolome made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valérien Jouglet was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Cura del Futbol getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Bernardo Acosta hit a great ball. The supporters of Cura del Futbol booed when Stade Ygossais was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cédric Louison didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th minute of the match, Marcial Stephen got a very nice opportunity to score, but Valérien Jouglet was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcial Stephen got free with Valérien Jouglet in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 43rd match minute, Stade Ygossais was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgard Blaison to maneuver through the defense. Cédric Louison received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Gilberto Hernandez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carlos Bartolome to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Cura del Futbol getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Felix Luzaide hit a great ball. 53 minutes into the match, Carlos Bartolome notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Stade Ygossais's Valérien Jouglet. Valérien Jouglet was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gilberto Hernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armand Boissin in the 58th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Jimeno Millano made a precise shot to the right of Valérien Jouglet. Stade Ygossais's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Augustin Coquin kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 66th minute of the match Braulio Onbera shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Valérien Jouglet showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 75th minute Constantino Peter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valérien Jouglet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Cura del Futbol's Gilberto Hernandez got control of the ball when Hector Jacquier tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cura del Futbol's defense didn't have a chance, in the 77th minute, when Hector Jacquier scored to the left of an out of position Gilberto Hernandez, making the score, 4-1. 83 minutes into the game, Carlos Bartolome cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Valérien Jouglet was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cédric Louison kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Cédric Louison recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cura del Futbol's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
