Aquiles Urtsin started the match with the kick off. After having played for 6 minutes, Cai Yi Guo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C. A. Adestiempo Juniors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cai Yi Guo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 7th match minute, C. A. Adestiempo Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benicio Onbera to maneuver through the defense. In the 10thth minute of the game Toto Arebam who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Merengue FC's Bayan Gugovski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Xilo Poladura scored 0-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bayan Gugovski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 18th match minute, Merengue FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aquiles Urtsin to maneuver through the defense. Bayan Gugovski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celedonio Florinio, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. C. A. Adestiempo Juniors's Honorato Primo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save C. A. Adestiempo Juniors from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aquiles Urtsin in the 26th minute of play forced C. A. Adestiempo Juniors's goalkeeper Honorato Primo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ediberto Sampaio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 32 minutes into the match, Merengue FC's goal looked a bit too open when Xilo Poladura came free, but Bayan Gugovski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bayan Gugovski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xilo Poladura, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 36th minute Toto Arebam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bayan Gugovski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th match minute, Merengue FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ediberto Sampaio to maneuver through the defense. When Toto Arebam came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the C. A. Adestiempo Juniors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Toto Arebam couldn't finish the play. Benjamim Mota's late challenge caught a C. A. Adestiempo Juniors's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benjamim Mota helped the player get up and apologised. C. A. Adestiempo Juniors made a substitution. Arnaldo Montrelle replaced Celedonio Florinio. After a rather tough play, Merengue FC's Benjamim Mota got a free kick in the 40th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Merengue FC's goal looked a bit too open when Xilo Poladura came free, but Bayan Gugovski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Honorato Primo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Aquiles Urtsin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 44 minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Toto Arebam stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Toto Arebam's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bayan Gugovski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Toto Arebam kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bayan Gugovski. That made the score 1-3 in the 52 minute of play. Arnaldo Montrelle hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. 57 minutes into the match, Merengue FC's goal looked a bit too open when Xilo Poladura came free, but Bayan Gugovski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Toto Arebam could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Bayan Gugovski made a huge save. A collision led to Merengue FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Raimundo Gonsalvo hit a great ball. In the 61st minute Pablo Ubarna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bayan Gugovski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bayan Gugovski made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Xilo Poladura sent off a good shot on target. 64 minutes into the game, Ediberto Sampaio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Honorato Primo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. C. A. Adestiempo Juniors's Honorato Primo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ediberto Sampaio in the 67th minute of play. In the 70th minute Aquiles Urtsin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Honorato Primo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Ediberto Sampaio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Honorato Primo was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. Bayan Gugovski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toto Arebam, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. It was a well-played corner which Donato Gonzalez managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Bayan Gugovski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xilo Poladura in the 84th minute of the match. In the 85th minute Aquiles Urtsin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Honorato Primo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Toto Arebam in the 87thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bayan Gugovski, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Toto Arebam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ediberto Sampaio took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Honorato Primo. Honorato Primo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. Both players had fought hard during the second half to keep the score at 3-3. The tie meant more entertainment for the crowd as the match moved into extra-time.

All the players looked a little tired when it was time for the first half of the overtime. It was Merengue FC's Aquiles Urtsin that got to make the kick off. In the 103rd match minute, C. A. Adestiempo Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donato Gonzalez to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, C. A. Adestiempo Juniors's Eulalio Oinaz got a free kick in the 106th minute. 111 minutes into the game, Arnaldo Montrelle cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-4. Bayan Gugovski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The C. A. Adestiempo Juniors players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
