After 10 played minutes MAZER SAF got a freekick which was hit by Celsinho da Silveira. 12 minutes into the match, Yuri Alberto notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Club Atlético Atlanta's Melquiades Salvatore. Melquiades Salvatore was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Melquiades Salvatore didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cafu Alagoano went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. 36 minutes into the game, Igor Coronado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Melquiades Salvatore was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yuri Alberto in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Melquiades Salvatore prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Melquiades Salvatore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yuri Alberto in the 42nd minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Donato Nalo to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, MAZER SAF's Igor Coronado ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Melquiades Salvatore. Melquiades Salvatore yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. Donato Nalo kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. If Anselmo Sarracino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Igor Coronado took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Melquiades Salvatore to make any attempt to save it. In the 69th minute, Igor Coronado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Melquiades Salvatore was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. Anselmo Sarracino charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The supporters of Club Atlético Atlanta booed when MAZER SAF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Félix Torres didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match was over MAZER SAF could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Club Atlético Atlanta throughout the match.
