After having played for 3 minutes, Rene Crescencio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A Gryffindor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rene Crescencio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cássio Corinth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laércio Paraíba in the 6th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos-Armando Valderrama in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cássio Corinth prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, C.A Gryffindor's Cássio Corinth got control of the ball when Igor Coronado tried to sneak it across the goal line. C.A Gryffindor's attentive Bill Bill managed to snatch the ball when Félix Torres made a throw-in in the 15th minute of the game. Igor Coronado's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Cássio Corinth firmly grabbed it by the left post. The C.A Gryffindor fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when C.A Gryffindor's Rene Crescencio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Félix Torres made in the 22nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by C.A Gryffindor's Bill Bill. Denílson Lopes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hermínio Eger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rene Crescencio, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Rodrigo Garro hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Rene Crescencio took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hermínio Eger. Hermínio Eger dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. MAZER SAF's Hermínio Eger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rene Crescencio in the 40th minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 41 minutes into the game, when Dráuzio Medeiros put in a rough tackle. The supporters of MAZER SAF booed when C.A Gryffindor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dráuzio Medeiros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hermínio Eger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denílson Lopes, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Denílson Lopes was the one to do the kick off. Cássio Corinth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Coronado in the 50th minute of the match. The throw-in from Igor Coronado in the 57th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by C.A Gryffindor's Marcelinho Leme. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind MAZER SAF's goalkeeper Hermínio Eger, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hermínio Eger made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vedillo Quijano in the 66th minute. With a little luck, MAZER SAF's Hermínio Eger got control of the ball when Vedillo Quijano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cássio Corinth stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Laércio Paraíba's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denílson Lopes in the 72nd minute of play forced MAZER SAF's goalkeeper Hermínio Eger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. C.A Gryffindor's Edgard Mangueira was substituted for Bill Bill. C.A Gryffindor's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Vedillo Quijano in the 74th minute. C.A Gryffindor's Cássio Corinth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos-Armando Valderrama in the 77th minute of play. Cássio Corinth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laércio Paraíba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A throw-in in the 81st minute of the game was made by Félix Torres with Rodrigo Garro as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Vedillo Quijano might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hermínio Eger. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vedillo Quijano ran back to his position shaking his head. Vedillo Quijano fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 90th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. In the 91st minute, Lucas Veríssimo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle sounded C.A Gryffindor left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than MAZER SAF.
